Jayme Marshall Jewelry

Jayme Marshall has been designing and creating jewelry for over 30 years using traditional and modern methods to handcraft one-of-a-kind artisan jewelry. She primarily works with fine and sterling silver, touches of gold, gemstones, sea glass, pearls, and flame-worked glass. Jayme enjoys experimenting with various techniques and finding ways to incorporate interesting textures, patinas, and shapes. Among her favorite methods is Keum-boo, an ancient Korean gilding process. She has also added antique impression dies to her repertoire and creates die-struck pieces with both familiar and new design elements.

Much of Jayme’s inspiration stems from an interest in mythological imagery and symbolism from various wisdom traditions, especially how they connect us with our own nature and place in the world. She aims to create imaginative collections with a synergy of movement, light, texture, color, and symbolism.

Jayme lives in the historic village of Burkittsville, Maryland, where her studio and gallery sit on the square corner of town. She is open to the public on weekends, during special events, and by appointment.
